Focus

I agree with my friend Rich. When your a young kid, a skateboard is a precious thing that has to last you as long as possible. There was no way my parents were gonna fork out for a deck when they thought it was a waste of money to begin with.
Basically, if you focus boards, your a spoilt prick.

The Animals and Children Took to the Streets

Just got back from seeing the excellent 19-27 production of 'The animals and children took to the streets'
Set in a desolate tenement building, the play follows the bitter struggles of a handful of characters as they cross paths in a world of juvenile delinquency, prostitution and shattered dreams. The downtrodden caretaker counting his pennies for a one-way ticket out of his bleak world provides many of the laughs, and as always the combination of animation and performance is amazing. Paul Barritt and Suzanne Andrade are both very talented.
You can catch the show til the 12th november at the Bristol old Vic, then til January at the National theatre London.

Greenman 2011

Just got back from the glorious Greenman festival in wales, where amongst all the visual splendour on offer I added my own touch of nonsense by plastering skurfboard stickers everywhere I could. signs, chairs, pub bars, beer barrels, andyloo toilets (every visit), more signs, fence posts, and bins all got sticker bombed.
Thank you Greenman for a wonderful weekend, and my appologies go out to whoever has to clean the 3rd toilet from the left by the perimeter fence. No, the god awful mess in the pan wasn't my doing, but I put a fek load of stickers in that one, and i'm not sure someone can hold their breath for that long whilst picking them all off.
